German wines from winery Günther Steinmetz
Since 1999, the Günther Steinmetz Winery has been managed in the second generation by Stefan Steinmetz, who attaches great importance to tradition and who places the individuality of his wines first.
In addition to passing on traditional knowledge, the change of generations has also led to the modernisation of process engineering and the improvement of various processes.
The vines of the wines of the Günther Steinmetz Winery grow on around 13 hectares of steep slopes in the surrounding cultivation area of Brauneberg and its neighbouring communities. The Brauneberger Juffer site is the trademark of the winery on the Middle Moselle.
In wine production, great importance is attached to low harvest volumes, a strict selection of grapes and gentle processing. In addition, various treatment agents are not used during production. In this way, the highest quality and excellent taste can be guaranteed.
The cultivation of the vines takes place in a natural way, which means that no fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides are used. Furthermore, the winery’s quality concept includes the targeted acquisition of old Riesling parcels.
The Günther Steinmetz Winery is committed to respecting traditions and growing wine in a natural way. This results in great wines full of character on the Middle Moselle.
