The 100% Carménère from the Chilean winery Casas del Bosque Reserva comes from the vineyards of the Rapel Valley south of Santiago and has been handpicked.

The Carménère vines grow on clay, sand and volcanic soils.

The red wine is characterised by its intense purple colour and the aromas of blueberries, currants and fresh rosemary as well as a hint of pepper. It tastes of sweet tobacco, plum and cinnamon and has a mineral, earthy note.

The wine is ideal for hearty meat dishes and pasta with spicy sauces.

That was fun on Saturday! Unfortunately only a small round, which surprised me, but very friendly and relaxed. The reason was probably the many American participants, you did a very professional job of addressing the group bilingually. All respect!
