Description
This red wine from the Kardenakhi region in Georgia is made from Budeshuri grapes, which are initially matured in Qvevri like a rosé without maceration for six months. To obtain a natural dark red color, a small amount of macerated, tannin-rich Saperavi grapes are added afterwards. The aromas show mulberry, cinnamon and a few hints of cocoa and chilli. The finish is clear with a balanced acidity.
