Description
The dry red wine from the Rosetti family winery is produced in the third generation.
Governo is the traditional method, in which about 10% of the grapes are dried and added to the fermented young wine only at the end of November for the second fermentation.
Before bottling, the Governo of Rossetti matured for 5 months in wooden barrels.
The wine is characterized by its strong acidity and soft mouthfeel.
The wine has a strong tannin framework and displays aromas of vanilla and red fruits.
To this is added the spicy note of Sangiovese, with hints of pepper and forest soil.
With its strong, fruity taste, this wine goes very well with grilled meat, hearty pasta, stews and mature cheese.
