Description
The wine of Suaden
Translated, Suadens means as much as gentle and flattering – and that is what this wine is too. The Cuvée Suadens has a ruby red color and delights with aromas of dried fruits on a fruity background of plums and wild blackberries.
The origin of the wine
The Suadens comes from the Italian region of Campania. The acclaimed red wine is a classic cuvée for the Campania region and is made from three autochthonous grape varieties. It is made from a selection of the best Aglianico grapes, harvested at the end of October and blended with grapes from Piedirosso and Sciascinoso. After the grapes are finely pressed, fermentation takes place in the presence of selected yeasts. The refinement takes place mainly in steel, followed by a short passage in barriques.
Food recommendations for the Suadens
The wine goes wonderfully with all game dishes, but also with other red and white meat. Truffles and mushrooms are also excellent companions for this wine.
