Wine is made using the traditional method for port wine. After light chopping with partial stalking, alcoholic fermentation follows with skin maceration. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and is stopped by adding brandy. The entire winemaking process, monitored by the oenology team, takes into account the grape varieties, their degree of ripeness and the desired sweetness.
The Vista Alegre Fine White is a blend of selected white wines from oak barrels with an average age of 4-5 years.
The port is ready to drink. It doesn’t need to be decanted. When served with ice, tonic water and a lemon wedge, it is an exceptional aperitif – port and tonic.
