Wine and network event – Book & Wine – wine tasting with the winery Winzergenossenschaft Winzer von Erbach eG on July 11th
Wine tasting – Book & Wine – wines from the Rheingau. For our virtual Rheingau wine tasting we could win the Winzergenossenschaft Winzer von Erbach eG for July 11th, 7 p.m..
The virtual wine event is accompanied by three authors from Book & Wine, who will read extracts from their books Glücksorte im Rheingau (Tanja Werle), Glücksorte in Rheinhessen (Kristin Heeler) and Glücksorte in Wiesbaden (Bärbel Klein) during the wine tasting.
During our online wine tasting we will taste a selection of five wines from the Winzergenossenschaft Winzer von Erbach eG. We will start with a Rosé Secco, a German quality sparkling wine from the Rheingau, which was awarded the silver prize coin. Of course the Riesling should not be missing, the Riesling Kabinett Erbacher Michelmark was also awarded with the silver prize coin and received 4 stars in the pleasure magazine “Selection”. Furthermore we will test the Blanc de Noir as well as a fine tart Pinot Noir. In addition there is a fine tart Riesling in the package.
The motto of the winegrowers’ cooperative from Erbach is “small but nice”.
The motto of the winegrowers’ cooperative from Erbach is “small but nice”. At least that is the motto of the “best winegrowers’ cooperative in the Rheingau” according to Hugh Johnson. If the wine pope already says so, who would contradict him?
The wines of the winegrowers of Erbach are highly awarded: Nine state honours, state winner awards in 2015 and 2017, highest praise in GaultMillau and VINUM wine guide. Above all, the Rieslings are celebrated, which are rich in extract, fruity and spicy and of good structure.
The foundation for this is already laid in the vineyard work with moderate pruning and selective harvesting. 31 member winegrowers from Erbach deliver their grapes to the winegrowers’ cooperative. The sites are located in Kiedrich and Rauenthal and cover a total of 33 hectares.
State-of-the-art cellar technology combined with traditional winemaking methods guarantee success. Cellar master Siegfried Bug ensures the consistent quality of the award-winning wines.
