Explore wine countries through carefully selected wines and learn about wine, viticulture, wine countries and the work as a winemaker directly from our winemakers and wine experts.

We offer a variety of wine-related events: Taste new wine at a pop-up wine tasting in our wine-love wine store in Schlangenbad near Wiesbaden or at organized wine events directly at the winemaker’s site. Learn new facts about wine and exchange ideas with wine enthusiasts and winemakers about everything related to wine.

Current wine events with wines from all over the world

At our wine tastings, there are no limits to the tasting of wine, because whether you want to taste wines from near or far: We have the right wine tasting for you! Visit wine events with wine from South America and discover Chile or Mexico in a different way. You can also register for a wine event with wine from Italy or Greece and get to know selected European wines. Of course, Germany is not neglected in our wine events: Discover wine from Rheinhessen, the Rheingau or other German wine-growing regions together with wine-love!


Wine tasting in Rheinhessen and surrounding regions

Most of the wine tastings offered at wine-love take place in our wine store in Schlangenbad im Taunus. Here, the winemaker or wine merchant of the wines tasted is also a guest and is available to answer all our questions about wine. Together with other wine interested people you can get to know new wine in a cozy get-together in Rheinhessen.

Especially in the summer months we also offer wine events in Rheinhessen and the Rheingau together with our winemakers on their vineyards. Get to know the winery, the growing areas of the wines and the production methods of the wine during a wine tasting at the winery or a preceding Winewalk. You will be shown and explained directly by the winemaker how wine is grown, harvested, processed, and finally sold.

Some of our wine events are also offered as online wine tastings, where you can participate in a virtual wine event from the comfort of your home.


Private wine tastings on site and online as a virtual event

We also offer a sophisticated wine tasting format for family celebrations, corporate events or larger closed groups. At a private wine tasting you can taste wine from a country of your choice together with your friends or colleagues. We offer private wine tastings at your location, with or without the winemaker/wine merchant. However, if your group is farther away, the private wine tasting can also take place as an online wine event.


Frequently asked questions about our wine events

How much do wine events cost at wine-love?

Our pop-up wine tastings in the wine shop in Schlangenbad cost €20. The prices for the other types of events are made up of the prices of the wines tasted and the scope of services of the wine event and can therefore vary.


Which countries does the wine for the wine tasting come from?

We often offer wine events with wine from South America (Argentina, Chile, Mexico), Italy, Greece and Germany (Rheinhessen, Rheingau). Almost all wine countries offered in our shop can be tasted at virtual wine tastings. Some of the winegrowers will be also connected virtually from the different countries.


How many people can attend the wine tastings?

At our public wine tastings on site, between 10 and 15 people usually take part, but there is no directly defined maximum number of participants. When it comes to on-site wine tasting, it depends on the capacity of the winemaker. Private wine tastings can be booked from 15 people. There is no maximum number of participants for virtual wine tastings, but a minimum of 10.
