Description
Bardolino Chiaretto
In the charming surroundings of Custoza, near Lake Garda, the Rosé wine Chiaretto is produced with great care and attention to detail by the Piona brothers. This wine is an expression of the local winemaking tradition, made from a carefully selected blend of 55% Corvina, 35% Rondinella, and 10% Molinara. Unlike the red Bardolino, the harvest for Chiaretto takes place two weeks earlier, which, along with a short maceration period and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, preserves the fresh acidity and vibrant fruit aromas.
The aroma is reminiscent of a springtime bloom, with lively notes of strawberries and raspberries making the wine an olfactory pleasure.
On the palate, the Chiaretto is pleasantly fruity, with the berry aromas creating an exquisite harmony in conjunction with the zesty acidity.
Suitable Foods
This Rosé is ideal for summery salads with meat or light grilled dishes such as fish and poultry. Served chilled, the Chiaretto unfolds its full spectrum of aromas, making it the perfect companion for the warm season.
