Overview of the Kaiserstuhl wine cooperative in Ihringen
The Kaiserstühler Winzergenossenschaft Ihringen is a respected winery in the Baden wine region at the Kaiserstuhl, run by wine-growing families since 1924 and successfully rebuilt after being nearly destroyed during World War II.
Its 600 members manage over 300 hectares of vineyards in an almost Mediterranean microclimate and fertile soils, giving the wines a special quality and uniqueness.
The cooperative, led by owner and managing director Volker Paschke, produces a variety of award-winning wines from different grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Silvaner, which enjoy international popularity.
Food to go with the wine
The Ihringer Pinot Noir Rosé Dry Sparkling Wine, a refreshing aperitif, pairs perfectly with a variety of light appetizers such as Caprese salad or salmon tartare, complemented by its fine effervescence and fruity aromas.
Furthermore, it is excellently suited for festive occasions, where it ideally accompanies dishes such as grilled vegetables or light pasta, ensuring delightful moments.
