Description
The Luccarelli “Tre Stelle” Negroamaro di Puglia IGT
The wine grows in the Apulia region, at the bottom of the Italian boot. Wines from original and now rediscovered grape varieties are grown there. For more than 3000 years, vines have been cultivated in this area by tradition, which the local winemakers respectfully consider for all wines. In the modern cellars, the well-known local wines are made from the autochthonous varieties. This Negroamaro is a remarkable example of this. Obtained 100% from this variety, the wine is further expanded in the stainless steel tank after a maceration period of approx. 2 weeks before it is bottled.

Taste and smell of the “Tre Stelle” Negroamaro di Puglia IGT
The typical spicy and fruity notes of this grape variety unfold in the nose. In addition to dark forest fruits, among which black currants particularly stand out, there are also many spicy aromas such as cloves, thyme or liquorice.
The wine is very full and powerful in the mouth. The spicy and fruity aromas are reflected very well on the palate. With its refreshing acidity and strong tannins, it has a full and long-lasting mouthfeel.
Food recommendations for the Negroamaro di Puglia IGT
Due to its strong nature, this wine is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to hearty meat dishes, such as grilled steak, or a spicy goulash at Christmas time. But it can also stand up to strong cheese or complement it harmoniously.
