Description
The Luccarelli “Tre Stelle” Rosso Puglia IGP
The wine grows in the Apulia region, at the bottom of the Italian boot. Wines from original and now rediscovered grape varieties are grown there. For more than 3000 years, vines have been cultivated in this area by tradition, which the local winemakers respectfully consider for all wines. In the modern cellars, the well-known local wines are made from the autochthonous varieties.
An example of this is the Rosso Puglia, which consists of Sangiovese, Primitivo and Malvasia Nera. After fermentation, the wine is expanded in stainless steel tanks and then bottled.

Taste and smell of the “Tre Stelle” Rosso Puglia IGP
Typical aromas for the grape varieties used unfold in the nose. In addition to cherry and plum aromas, there are also spicy hints of leather, damp forest floor, or pepper. In the mouth, the Rosso Puglia is very full-bodied, with a strong tannin structure. The wine has a mild acidity and the spicy, fruity aromas of the nose come into their own on the palate.
Food recommendations for Puglia IGP
This wine is particularly suitable for meat dishes with a mushroom side dish, such as roasted veal saddle with wild mushroom ragout. But it can also be drunk well with a strong cheese or as a charming companion in good company.
