Virtual Meet5 Wine Tasting with Fritz Steitz aus Badenheim
On January 23, 2021 at 7pm we are meeting for an exclusive virtual meet5 wine tasting with Fitz Steitz and wines from Rheinhessen. Fritz Steitz will personally present us some of his wines.
Steitz vom Donnersberg – Wines from Rheinhessen, Germany
The history of the Steitz can be traced back until the year 1510. Originally the ancestors of Fritz Steitz come from Donnersberg. However, the family lives in Badenheim, which is located in the west of Rheinhessen, for five generations.
The family business cultivates ts vines on a variety of different soils in wine growing regions in Rheinhessen and the Nahe area.
The winery always aims to unite the unique characteristics of those two regions in its wines.
With a lot of patience, dedication and precision as well as the bond with their home, the winery Steitz produces extraordinary wines of high quality.
Cultivating wines sustainably is an important aspect for the family Steitz. Every step of the winegrowing and production process is considered long-term and with a view to future generations. The result is an outstanding wine experience.
We will taste the following wines
1x 2019 Grauburgunder, dry (13% vol)
1x Muskateller, dry (12% vol)
1x 2019 Merlot, dry (14,5% vol)
All wines contain sulphite.
