Description

The Pinot Blanc from Freinsheim in the Palatinate is a German wine with grape variety / vintage dry. The wine has aromas of green apple, peach, almond blossom, green grass and acacia blossom. The Pinot Blanc goes perfectly with an asparagus salad, but of course it is also the ideal accompaniment to all other asparagus dishes.

Weingut Kohl has been family-owned since 1753 and has been a winery since 1975 with 9 hectares of vineyards and its own bottling. Since the 2018 vintage, all products have been vegan, single-origin, some hand-picked and carefully processed to preserve their aromas. It is managed in harmony with the weather and the vine – free of glyphosate and herbicides for over 15 years. In the second half of 2019, the winery decided to convert the entire business to the strict quality requirements of controlled, organic viticulture.
