Description

Origine IGP: with burning Intensity

The Origine IGP unveils itself in a radiant purplish-red hue. The nose is intense, emphasizing notes of red and black fruits such as blackberry, cherry, and blueberry.

On the palate, it’s a delectable and rich wine, highlighting flavors of jammy black fruits, pepper, and eucalyptus. The finish is smooth with a hint of sweetness.

The Origine IGP consists of 100% Carignan Vielles Vignes grapes.

The Domaine Saint Antoine Winery

Domaine Saint Antoine is located in the historic wine-growing region of Haut-Minervois in southern France and is run by a couple from Berlin. Since 2022, the winery has been organically certified and spans 45 ha, of which 27 ha are used for wine production.

Historically, the winery’s history dates back to the times of Napoleon when it was acquired by an Irish widow, Marie Anne Coppinger, with Napoleon’s help.

Domaine Saint Antoine places great emphasis on sustainable cultivation and manual labor, striving to reflect the essence of Minervois in every glass of their wine.

Matching Dishes

The Origine IGP pairs beautifully with a Burgundy fondue, grilled dishes, or even a beef tartare.
