Wine specialist Höfferle
The family company Höfferle has been selling South American wines and specialties in Germany for over 40 years. Alicia and Juan laid the foundations for importing and selling the products in the mid-1970s, when they began to bring Argentine tradition to Hamburg and all of Europe.
Wine from South America
The focus of the work of Höfferle is on wine imports from Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Mexico. The two of them attach great importance to family-run wineries and excellent product quality and convince themselves of the wine quality directly in the bodegas and select the best wines for import. The wines are bottled on site and are characterized by their fruitiness and full-bodiedness as well as their full body. Some of the wines are also aged in wooden barrels.

Argentina
- Bodega Chakana in the Mendoza region: The production is strictly regulated according to the star calendar, harvest selection criteria and the right time are based on their relationship to the positions of the sun, moon and stars.
- Bodega Chanarmuyo at the foot of the Paiman mountain range. The altitude and dry weather create a microclimate that combines hot days and cold nights in summer with frequent snowfall in winter. This wide temperature range makes it ideal for growing noble grapes, which will find their expression in the wines of this wonderful terroir; a land that preserves the memory of the ancient indigenous people, the Diaguitas.

- Luis Seccondo Curreas in Medonza: The cellar master of the winery presses wines of the highest quality and authenticity with his distinctive know-how. He knows how to interpret the various factors such as soils, climate, age of the vineyards and tradition in such a way that wines with expression, character and noble finesse are created.
- Malma in Patagonia: The grapes are picked by hand and the berries are selected. The winery is equipped with the latest technology for the production of high quality wines, maceration and fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks. After a short aging in oak barrels, an elegant and harmonious wine is created: fresh, fruity, representative of the wines of the Patagonia region.
- Otero Ramos: In the late 1990s he acquired an important winery in Luján de Cuyo, the first wine-growing region in Mendoza, the cradle of the greatest wine in Argentina and the only place in the world that has DOC for Malbec.
Ricardo Santos: Ricardo Santos has shown a lifelong commitment to the Argentine wine tradition, especially to the great Argentine Malbec variety. More than forty years ago, he was the first Argentine winemaker to export to Malbec. - Septima: The Bodega Séptima was founded in 2001 and is located in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza province, at the foot of the Andes. Its name comes from the seventh winery of the Spanish family Codorníu-Raventós, which means “seventh”.
- Tapiz: The winery hopes to produce quality wines from the best regions of Mendoza.
