Blanc de Blancs Rheinhessen
The Blanc de Blancs from the renowned Bürgermeister Schmitt winery is an exclusive composition that unites two of the most noble white wine grape varieties: Chardonnay, known worldwide for its elegance, body, and layered aromas ranging from citrus fruits to butter and vanilla, and Weißburgunder, often referred to as Pinot Blanc, which captivates with its freshness, delicate melt, and hints of green apples and nuts.
This cuvée not only represents the expertise and tradition of the winery but also offers an extraordinary taste experience where the complexity and terroir of both grape varieties harmoniously come to the fore.
“Blanc de Blancs” is French and translates literally as “White of Whites”. In context, it means that the wine is made exclusively from white grapes.

The winery Mayor Adam Schmitt in Mommenheim, Rheinhessen, is known for its variety of vineyards in different growing areas.
Owner Eckhard Höbel likes to experiment and manages among other things the steepest vineyard in the Rauenthaler Rothenberg in the Rheingau.
Further locations are in Eppelsheim and at the Nackenheimer Rothenberg. Höbel follows the ecological guidelines of the winegrowers’ association Ecovin and has also been producing vegan wines since 2014. To further wines!
