Description
Grüner Veltliner Naturbursch Oak Barrel
The Grüner Veltliner Naturbursch underwent partial mash fermentation, partial spontaneous fermentation, and was matured ‘sur lie’.
Mashing is the process in which the solid parts of the grape, such as skins and seeds, are soaked in the must to extract color, flavor, and tannins for winemaking.
“Sur lie” refers to a winemaking method where the wine is aged on its yeast for a period, leading to increased complexity and sometimes a creamier texture.
