Description
The Pinot Noir is a dry German quality wine. It is pressed gently and only the first run is processed into this light wine made from red Pinot Noir grapes. The wine has a delicate scent of strawberry, currant, cassis and apple, with mild acidity. The wine goes well with green asparagus with salmon or with grilled vegetables and pan-fried meat. The wine is also recommended with a wok with sugar snap peas, chicken and red curry.
Weingut Kohl has been family-owned since 1753 and has been a winery with 9 hectares of vineyards and its own bottling facility since 1975. Since the 2018 vintage, all products have been vegan, single-origin, some hand-picked and carefully processed to preserve their aromas. It is managed in harmony with the weather and the vine – free of glyphosate and herbicides for over 15 years. In the second half of 2019, the winery decided to convert the entire operation to the strict quality requirements of controlled, organic viticulture
