Wine Trip to Greece in September 2024
From 22.09. to 30.09.2024 I am organizing various wine tastings at Greek winegrowers and wine shops as part of a joint wine journey through Greece (Athens / Cyclades).
Below you can see the planned program. We will visit different wineries in different places and get to know the fascination of Greek wines. I will show you a selection of my favorite wineries in Greece!

The trip takes place with a minimum of 8 participants in total.
22. September: Flight to Athens
We organize the wine tastings of the wine tour. Each participant organizes their own travel (incl. ferries) and hotel bookings.
Flights from Frankfurt
Lufthansa: Departure 6:50am, arrival 10:40am, flight LH1280, price for the flight approx. 180€
Lufthansa: Departure: 9:20am, arrival 13:10pm, flight LH1278, price for the flight approx. 195€

In addition to the travel costs, there are also the ferries and transfers within Greece. In Athens there are quite cheap ways to get into the city by bus or train. On the islands the hotels are within walking distance, except Santorini, here I order a cab and we can share the costs.

September 22 – September 24:
The wine tour starts with a wine tasting in a wine shop in Plaka/Athens in the middle of the old alleyways, with a selection of wines from all over Greece and accompanying snacks. There is also a guided tour of a winery outside Athens including an accompanying meal (menu/buffet).
We organize the wine tastings. Each participant organizes their own travel and hotel booking.

On Syros we enjoy a wine tasting with snacks at a young up-and-coming winery, as well as a wine tasting with natural wine and food accompaniment (menu).
We organize the wine tastings. Each participant organizes their own travel and hotel booking.

We are also planning 2 wine tastings with local wines on Paros.
In a winery in Naoussa, which is now run by the 4th generation, we are planning a guided tour (in German and/or English) and tasting of 6 wines with food accompaniment (snack).
We will also visit a traditional farm, taste the wine there and be treated to a traditional menu with home-grown produce in a rural setting.

28th September – 30th September: Visit to two wineries
We also visit 2 wineries on Santorini. Very special, dreamlike experiences with excellent wine and enjoyment await us here. In both wineries we start with a guided tour of the winery.
We visit a cooperative followed by a 3-course meal and accompanying wines at sunset.
We also visit a 2nd traditional winery in unforgettable surroundings.
