Two decades ago this special grape variety from Crete was neglected. At the moment, Vidiano is one of the best Greek white grapes after Assyrtiko. The color of the wine is greenish-yellow. In its high-quality and fruity quality, it comes very close to a German Riesling. This is round and consistent with a fruity, tangy note. Dried apricots, peaches, vanilla and daisies are palpable. When it comes to the aroma, pear and mango stand out. On the palate there is a certain note of jasmine and a hint of melon. Overall, this is a full-bodied and creamy wine with a very good length and aftertaste.
