Discover and enjoy great wines from Rheinhessen and the Nahe with Fritz Steitz
On June 28th, 2024 we are offering a small, but fine wine tasting with Fritz Steitz from Badenheim at the wine shop in Schlangenbad. Weather permitting, the wine tasting takes place in front of the wine shop; when it rains, we will enjoy the wines on the covered terrace.
Start the weekend with a wine tasting and discover new wines!
We will discover various white wines and a rosé wine from the new vintages as well as excellent red wines from Rheinhessen and Nahe. A total of 6 wines will be tasted, the wine tasting includes a 0.1l tasting glass and various snacks such as olives and homemade breadsticks. Through our cooperation with Trattoria Da Dario, their dishes can be ordered and delivered for an additional charge.
The Fritz Steitz winery from Rheinhessen
The winery from a place near Bad Kreuznach has wines in Rheinhessen and also on the Nahe. For the Steitz family, the fifth generation is already a guarantee of quality, and it is said that it is important that the characteristics of the growing regions are refined in their wines. The soil of the wine regions as well as the microclimate in Rheinhessen and near Bad Kreuznach on the Nahe make the wine distinctive. Of course, the nurturing hand of the winemaker, who creates exceptional and sustainable wines of special quality with a lot of patience, dedication and precision as well as a connection to the homeland.
