Description
Poggio al Moro
From the idyllic Castagneto Carducci, south of Livorno, comes “Poggio al Moro” by Enrico Santini, an expression of Tuscan winemaking artistry. This wine, a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, combines organic farming with modern vinification. Its bouquet is rich in spice notes such as coffee and leather, complemented by the freshness of dark berries and cherries. On the palate, it is powerful, with ripe tannins and fine acidity that leads into a long, harmonious finish.
Suitable Foods
“Poggio al Moro” pairs excellently with medium-heavy meat dishes, such as veal back stuffed with ham, and with aged cheese. At an optimal serving temperature of 10-12 °C, it enriches every meal with Tuscan elegance and is also ideal for a cozy evening.
