Description
Xinomavro is the best red grape variety in Greece. When properly brewed, its wine can be compared to the highest quality Barolos. This is not just due to Xinomavro and Nayby. The taste characteristics of the two Nebbiolo wines are similar.
This goumenissa is accompanied by 30% fruity, tannin-rich Negosca grapes. The rich aroma of rum and raisins flowed into our noses. And mint. As the air moved, sweet spices and bitter gourds, canned cherries and blackberries appeared.
The taste is very complex. Sun-dried tomatoes, pomegranates, and plums appear with coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and liquorice, as well as some bay leaves and black olives. This wine is full-bodied, round, balanced and has a long taste.
