The dark ruby red, almost black Primitivo di Manduria comes from the Apulia region at the bottom of the Italian boot. For over 3000 years, original and now rediscovered grape varieties of special quality have been growing there.
The local winegrowers respect and appreciate the long tradition of this region. The red wine is made exclusively from vines of local varieties, whose grapes are hand-picked.
The Primitivo is characterised by its complex and fruity bouquet. It displays aromas of ripe red fruits, vanilla and cocoa. On the palate the wine is powerful with strong tannins and a persistent finish.
During a sociable evening with good food the Campo Marino is a perfect companion. It goes very well with strong dishes like goulash, steak, roast or cheese. It also goes well with chocolate.
