The Domaine Saint Antoine is located in one of the oldest wine-growing regions in France, the Haut-Minervois.There, a couple originally from Berlin produce wines that are shaped by the wind and sun of southern France.
The extraordinary wines grow in the original landscape of the Minervois, which is characterized by its Mediterranean vegetation and its original and mystical character.
The Domaine Saint Antoine has been organically certified since summer 2022. Today, the winery spans 45 hectares, with 27 hectares being used for wine production.
The History of Domaine Saint Antoine
The Domaine Saint Antoine winery has a rich history that dates back to the times of Napoleon. It is said that Napoleon succumbed to the charm of an Irish widow, Marie Anne Coppinger, and helped her acquire the area around the Étang de Marseillette.
This winery, which proudly bears the name St. Antoine today, has its roots in a story of passion, discovery, and the pursuit of excellence.
